About Us
Hello. I am Jonathan James. I established my small farm in May 2010 on the slopes of the Pentland Hills near West Linton. I was keen to support Rare Breeds and started with a mixed flock of Hebridean & Shetland sheep. Since then my menagerie has grown to include chickens, pigs and horses.
I actively support the Rare Breeds Survival Trust and am a members of many supporting societies including being Chair of the Hebridean Sheep Society and a Committee Member of the Tamworth Breeders Club. I enjoy attending shows with my sheep and hope to meet some of you there. I also sell meat from my sheep flock and pig herd that is full of flavour and really rather special. Since establishing my farm I have also been involved in working my Labradors on various local shooting estates and I love the training, breeding and reward of working with these incredible dogs.
I hope to go on supporting Rare Breeds & Training / Breeding Labradors for many years to come.
